Our Impact Over the Years
To mark our 20th anniversary, we have taken a deep dive into our data and our impact over two decades. Highlights include:
Reached more than
people in sub-Saharan Africa with life-changing health services.
Helped to keep
1,174,892 women alive
who may otherwise have been at increased risk of maternal mortality.
for African women living with HIV across a dozen countries.
965,225 children (ages 0-5) alive
who may otherwise have been at increased risk of child mortality.
...the number of at-risk adults we have helped keep HIV-negative since 2013, thanks to our primary prevention services.

Celebrating our Staff
For our 20th Birthday, we made sure our staff got the presents. Twenty randomly selected frontline staff each received a one-off cash gift of ZAR 20,000, to use for themselves, their family, or their community. And every one of our team received a gift of traditional African fabric, representing our roots, and how we can shape our future.
