mothers2mothers (m2m) is excited to announce that we have been selected by AIDS 2022—the world’s largest conference on HIV/AIDS—to curate a photo exhibition under the theme of HIV=Humanity Inspiring Victory! The exhibit will showcase how people-centred models are engaging and re-engaging communities, with the goal of ending AIDS by 2030.

And we want to hear from you! Do you enjoy photography, or are you a professional photographer, and want to contribute images that speak to the theme? Are you from a community-based organisation, or do you work with a community-based organisation, especially in regions with high HIV prevalence such as sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe?

Then this is your opportunity to have your work and photography showcased on a global stage, and to be featured in the “Global Village” area of this influential conference from 29th July-2nd August, where participants from around the world will be in attendance!

Submit photographs and accompanying personal stories in line with the theme through the form below before 17th June, and help us inspire and educate attendees, while contributing to reducing stigma through the powerful presentation of people living with HIV as change agents.

Visitors to the exhibition space will also be encouraged to take a selfie with the photos, which will be shared on m2m’s and AIDS 2022’s Twitter and Instagram accounts with the hashtags #HumanityInspiringVictory or #EndingHIVisJusttheStart.

  • Eligibility: individuals or organisations who want to contribute images that speak to the theme of “HIV=Humanity Inspiring Victory”, especially if community-based or working with community-based organisations in areas with high HIV prevalence such as sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe;
