Who Are Your Heroes?
We are celebrating heroes—all the women who inspire us, lift us up, and bring out our best! For Mother’s Day, make a donation in honor of your heroes and we will send e-cards to let them know how much they inspire you.
By doing so, you will help support the work of our heroes—the 1,700 Mentor Mothers we employ as frontline health workers across sub-Saharan Africa. Their work to keep women, children, and families in their communities safe and healthy is more important than ever in the face of two pandemics—COVID-19 and HIV.

Celebrating HERoes
I’d rather be in the health center than anywhere else, making a difference for people in my community. That is where my heart is.
Nolundi Pani, Mentor Mother, South Africa
Through this employment, I have educated my two sons… I am also supporting my parents who depend on me and we are all living a very healthy and happy life.
Stella Maunda, Community Mentor Mother, Kenya
I speak to my fellow Mentor Mothers. We are each other’s source of strength.
Velna Malobola, Peer Mentor, South Africa
Other Ways to Give
The Mentor Mothers walked with me through the journey until I delivered an HIV-free baby. I will forever be grateful to them.
Sylvia Omwanza, former m2m client, Kenya
Mentor Mothers have been a great benefit to our village. Parents and children are both living healthy, and they have brightened the future of our children.
Mercy James, m2m client, Malawi
mothers2mothers helps us a lot because we are understaffed. This organisation has really strengthened the healthcare system.
