WLI ELEVATE is an experience for women by women to provide community and inspiration in the form of conversations about their journeys. Our purpose is to elevate a woman’s perspective, sense of inclusivity and over all mental and emotional reserve with the goal of having participants feel inspired, embraced and enough.

The women living with HIV—who mothers2mothers (m2m) employs as frontline health workers called Mentor Mothers—work in some of the most vulnerable communities in sub-Saharan Africa, where critically under-resourced health systems and profound gender inequalities make it difficult to access essential health services. Mentor Mothers have a deep understanding of these challenges, coming from the same communities as the women and families they serve.  As leaders and role models, they provide health services and support their clients to stay healthy and thrive. The employment also creates vital economic empowerment opportunities—giving Mentor Mothers the power to write their own futures.
