The 2019 programme review is comprised of country and project data from mHealth apps and routine summary reports, including output, quality of care, and client outcome data. For reach and scale, we analysed 12 months of routine data from eight countries (Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Uganda, and Zambia). The client outcomes analysis is based on data from mHealth apps in four countries (Lesotho, South Africa, and Uganda, and Eswatini for primary prevention) that were fully implementing digital solutions during the period of analysis (January 2017 to December 2019).
