Highlights include our flagship gala, The Mothers’ Ball, annual Mother’s Day brunches celebrating the inspiring women we serve, and the global Spotlight Series, which shines a light on our impactful programmes across sub-Saharan Africa.

Spotlight Series
The Spotlight Series is a global virtual series that showcases m2m’s work across our countries of operation. In 2024, we were proud to highlight our transformative work in Zambia and Uganda, featuring powerful insights from Peer Mentors, Mentor Mothers, and our in-country Leadership teams.
mothers2mothers Day
At m2m, we believe that every day should be Mother’s Day – because we’ve seen for more than two decades the power of women and mothers to transform lives and communities. Mother’s Day is a key moment in our calendar where we have the joy of celebrating all the wonderful m2m Mentor Mothers and supporters.
International AIDS Society Conference
mothers2mothers are proud to participate at the largest global gathering on HIV/AIDS. The biannual event brings together scientists, policymakers, healthcare professionals, people living with HIV, funders, media, and community members—all united by a common goal: to end HIV/AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.
UNGA – Goals House
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is always an important time for m2m—as the global development community gathers in New York City to discuss urgent topics. A focus topic in 2024 was on funding structures, and how these need to change to trust local organisations more.
In 2024, m2m was delighted to host an event spotlighting this topic—held at Goals House and in partnership with our friends at Cartier Philanthropy. Conversations centred around how to think differently about partnerships and investment, and the tangible actions required to make meaningful progress towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
The Mothers’ Ball
In November 2024, the iconic Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) transformed once again into a dazzling celebration of the power of women to change lives. Over 300 guests were invited to reflect on the theme ‘The Woman Who Changed My Life’, and we heard m2m Mentor Mother Bupe Sinkala’s incredible story.
