Our long-standing partner, Johnson & Johnson, is hosting a series of virtual events this year through their Center for Health Worker Innovation (CHWI). These sessions will explore the importance of community-based healthcare in strengthening health care, access, and delivery. And m2m will be participating!

Please join us on April 28, 2021 at 10:00 am EST, for the first event in this series, which will explore the challenges facing frontline health care workers related to respect and recognition. The interactive session will explore the policy and systems-level barriers, lived experiences, and a vision for the future.

Speakers include our own Cissy Mirembe, a Programme Assistant from Uganda, who will share her own story, and the experiences of her team on this theme. She will be joined by Denise Smith from the National Association of Community Health Workers (U.S.), Laura Nel from Johnson & Johnson’s Global Community Impact team, and more.
